LIBRARY EVENTS SCHEDULE


11/21 6:15 (Friday) Annual Festival of Trees ….and Wreaths. This annual event features trees and wreaths decorated by local non-profit organizations which will be on display from 11/21 until 12/31. The 11/21 kick-off includes musical entertainment by ,Edna Alex a local Flagler County resident, an opportunity to tour the trees on display at the Library as well as enjoy the refreshments. The Friends of the Library and Flagler County Public Library invite you to join us in this annual community kick-off for the holiday season.

On Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
“Cooking for the Holidays” by Chef Warren as he shares dozens of holiday kitchen tips, cooking hints and humorous anecdotes about the joys and challenges of cooking. Chef Warren will answer such questions as: Is it possible to chop onions without tears? Are pre-packaged frozen entrées really time and money savers? What is the best upgrade for my kitchen? How do I preserve all that leftover fresh parsley? And, should I cook with wine, and if so, what kind should I use? Chef Warren then ends his presentation with a cooking demonstration. Warren Caterson is a full-time writer and chef who studied at the Southeast Institute of Culinary Arts. He resides with his family in St. Augustine, Florida. Cookbooks by the author will be available for sale. Light refreshments will be served.

Family movies, special events, fun things, educational programs and "what to do" may be found on The Teen Spot. 
But it not only for Teens.  Your entire family will find wonderful things to do here.  All sponsored and supported by The Friends of the Library.

The Children's Department also offers new  programs sponsored by The Friends. We have a most excellent Children's Department and your support makes it so.

Buy a brick information
The Friends of the Library encourage you to buy a brick. Use this opportunity to recognize your loved ones, special events, and organizations, as well as show your support for the library. All proceeds from brick sales support the Flagler County Public Library, so your gift will be a long-lasting memorial and a way to help with our fundraising efforts.
