YA Activities for the Month of May:
Wednesday, May 1 No School Movie Matine,* 1:30 P.M. Movie Rating: PG13 When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. That team of superheroes includes five popular Marvel Comic Book characters.
Saturday, May 4 Movie Matinee,* 1:30 P.M. Movie Rating: PG13 Billionaire Tony Stark has declared himself the “Iron” superhero and installed world peace – or so he thinks. He soon realizes that not only is there a mad man (Whiplash) out to kill him with his own technology, but there is something more: he is dying. Based on the popular Marvel Comic Book superhero and released to theaters in 2010.

Wednesday, May 15 Salsa/Ballroom Dancing Workshop for Teens/Tweens and Adults, 4 P.M. Come join the fun and learn basic dance steps from Mr. Kevin.

Ms. Susan Burke March will host the event and share basic nutritional facts with participants. You will also have the opportunity to sample a smoothie or two!

Get Ready For Beneath the Surface Teen Reading Program
The Summer Reading Adventure for teens begins on Monday, June 10th. Participants must be of middle or high school age. All younger youths are encouraged to enroll in the Children’s Summer Reading Program. The Teen SRA will gather every Monday at 1 P.M. and conclude on August 12th with an end-of-summer celebration. Pre-register with Ms. Sharon, Young Adult Coordinator. Teens may also enroll in the adventure by sending an email of interest to sfiske@flaglercounty.org
