The Friends of the Library of Flagler County, Inc. is a not-for-profit Internal Revenue Code 501(C)3 corporation chartered under Florida Statutes to serve as a support organization to the Flagler County Library. A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained  from the Division of Consumer Services by calling toll free 1-800-435-7352 within the State.  Registration does not imply endorsement, approval or recommendation by the State.

On an annual basis, the Friends of the Library of Flagler County files an IRS Form 990 - Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax. It is a formal document that details our compliance with non-profit laws and regulations. It demonstrates our public accountability and good corporate governance. Anyone may request a copy of our Form 990.

The Financial Committee of The Friends of the Library of Flagler County administers the Endowment Fund working with a major Investment firm. The Financial committee is chaired by the Friend's Treasurer, an elected position. The Board of the Friends of the Library makes all policy decisions regarding the development and distribution of endowment funds.
